Know your allergens
From December 13th 2014 legislation requirements for food businesses in the EU changed. Every food business now has a legal requirement to provide accurate allergen information.
If you have any allergen requests or need dietary advice please speak to your local Jasper’s owner and they will be able to provide safe advice. We hold a huge database of ingredients and we demand that the suppliers of these ingredients provide us with accurate information.
Jasper’s works very hard to ensure that food safety is the top of our agenda. We don’t cut corners and we demand traceability from our suppliers whilst endeavouring to ensure our knowledge is kept up to date. Each one of our kitchens from the 13th December 2014 will hold a Continuing Professional Development Certificate on Allergens, in addition to minimum Level 3 Food Safety: Safer Food Better Business. We also update our internal management processes, our commercial insurance and our professional catering premises are registered.
